Doris J K'Meyer

She was born October 30, 1943, in Napier, West Virginia. Doris was a former member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church. She attended Happy Day School and truly enjoyed typing.

Doris has lived at KentRidge for the past nine years, meeting many incredible new friends and enjoyed attending the church services there. She had a special love for all of her friends and caregivers at KentRidge, including her caregiver Nancy Dynowsky and her secretary Deanne.

Doris had a childlike joy about her. She loved people and had a personality that could brighten any room. She enjoyed singing, shopping, playing cornhole, and playing bingo. Doris always made sure that her outfits matched and she liked to relax by the fireplace.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Earl K’Meyer. She is survived by many loving cousins and dear friends including Denise and Ron Jenkins and Richard Blasens.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with funeral services officiated by her cousin Pastor Bob Brown at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at West Cemetery in Palmyra.
