

He was born July 17, 1989, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Douglas Paul Byrne Sr. and Cinthia (Mercer) Seith. Doug was a veteran of the US Army. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed target shooting and hiking in the woods. He loved sports and was a Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. Most of all, Doug loved his family, especially his children. Doug’s inspiration and devotion in life were his children.
He is survived by his fiancé Jennifer Makosky, his father Douglas (Nancy Green) Byrne Sr., his mother Cinthia (Tom) Seith, his children: Sadie Pauley Byrne, Liam Makosky-Byrne, Renée Makosky-Byrne, Joshua Makosky, as well as his siblings: Anthony (Malorie) Byrne, Leanne Byrne, Ryan (Corrina) Byrne, Corey (Lisa) Mercer, his grandparents: Paul Byrne, Patricia Workman, and Diane Mercer, along with many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received Wednesday, September 9, 2015, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, with the funeral service immediately following at 7:00 PM.
