Elizabeth Madeline Botz

She was born on July 6, 1912 to Elizabeth and Stephen Hobler. Elizabeth was raised in Akron and married Sebastian M. Botz on January 5, 1928. They had five children and in 1943 they moved their family to Luli Rd. in Randolph. Elizabeth was a multi-talented, very energetic woman and an excellent cook and seamstress. She loved flowers and joined many clubs. Garden clubs, hobby clubs, sewing clubs, she loved them all. She really enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Her children and grandchildren will always remember her wonderful cakes and pastries.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Sebastian (Joyce) Botz, daughters: Vivian (James) Back and Doris (Anton Prosckro) Engler. She is also survived by her grandsons: Douglas Botz, Gregg (Sandy) Skeen, Jeff Skeen, Michael Wiland, Gerald Engler, Mark Engler and by granddaughters: Bonnie (Fred) Fish, Elizabeth (Daniel) Kline, Barbara (Jeff) Casher, Kathleen (Jeff) Gambone, Cynthia (Ed) Kneale, Teresa (Ron) Fedorchak, Susanne (Jud) Wadsworth, Shelly (Jay) Walter, Melany Barth and Mary Ann (Marlin) Hammons. She also leaves 28 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Sebastian M. Botz, infant son, Joseph G. Botz, daughters: Jeanette Kehner and Elizabeth

Wiland and grandsons: James Skeen and Frank A. Engler.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna where funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, November 28, 2011 with Pastor Scott Hindel officiating.
