Evelyn Marie Moore

She was born March 25, 1931, in Bakerton, Pennsylvania, to parents Ralph and Esther (Mack) Davenport. Evelyn was a loving mother and grandmother, who was truly the matriarch of her family.

She was a member of the Lake Brady United Methodist Church and worked as a custodian for Kent City Schools. Evelyn enjoyed reading, watching game shows, and working on crossword puzzles. She was also an excellent cook and baker.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Allen Moore, Larry Moore, Jerry Moore, and Jimmy Moore, her grandchildren: Consuela Hercsek, Chondra Gingerich, Angelique Moore, Jerry Moore II, Jason Moore, Paul Sloey, as well as all of her loving great-grandchildren: Nathan Moore, Joseph Gingrich, Micayla Glass(Moore), Cameron Moore-Smith, Kielyn Moore-Smith, Bella Herschek and all her sweet little great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Moore, her son Donnie Moore, her four brothers, and her three sisters.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026, with a funeral service officiated by Pastor David Haydu at 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St, Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
