

Gail was born to Raymond and Delores Whittlesey on March 15, 1953 in Ravenna, Ohio. She was a long time bank teller for several local financial institutions. Gail was a member of the Randolph United Methodist Church and was recently employed by the Randolph Fair Board. Her early years were spent involved with the Waterloo Schools Pre-School organization. Gail liked to cook and was an adept seamstress who loved to sew. She always enjoyed her weekly outings to Joann Fabrics with her friends. Gail took much enjoyment from tending her flower gardens but her biggest enjoyment came from loving and being there for her children and grandchildren.
Gail is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dave. She is also survived by her children: Doug (Laura) Neal, Aaron (Colleen) Neal, and Kelly Neal. Surviving also are her beloved grandchildren: Brianna, Alec, Hunter, Alexandra, Beckett, Hayden, Elena, Celeste and Marcus. Her mother also survives her as well as her sister, Marcella (Joe) Martell and her brother, Lynn (Linda) Whittlesey. She also leaves many loving family members.
Gail was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Whittlesey.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Randolph United Methodist Church, 4078 Waterloo Rd., Randolph, Ohio with Pastor Karen Drotar officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
