She was born February 12, 1935, in Cuyahoga Falls, to parents Fredrick and Georgia (Bennett) McKitrick. Georgia worked for many years as a nurse’s assistant at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was always family oriented and cherished her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Grandma George.”
Georgia is survived by her children: Christine (Jeff) Shull, Eileen Jeffries, and Tom (Vielka) Slevin, as well as her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Slevin, her sister Marie Bunnell, and her brothers Gilbert, Frank, Fred, and Donald McKitrick.
Friends and family will be received Friday, November 12, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, with funeral services officiated by Mark Lattimer at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
