Harry Ellis Roosa

Harry was born in Shalersville, Ohio on April 9, 1926 to Herbert and Johanna Roosa. Mr. Roosa was a retired farmer from the Shalersville and surrounding area. Harry was a veteran of both WWII and Korean Wars. He was a very active man involved with numerous activities, especially with the senior group of Paris Twp. Harry was very social, especially with his neighbors and enjoyed being outdoors.

Harry is survived by his children: Edward H. (Ruth) Roosa, Bonnie C. (Michael) Miller and Harold E. Roosa. He is also survived by several loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Surviving also are his brothers: Melvin and Albert and his sister, Edna Whittaker.

Predeceasing Harry were his parents, his wife, Patricia, and five siblings.

Friends will be received on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor David Ballert officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
