Hilda E. Klingler

She was born July 19, 1931, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Isaac Ellis and Hilda E. (Fielding) DeVault. Hilda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ravenna and retired from Container Corp of America.

Hilda will be remembered for her bright smile and willingness to help others. She always kept others needs above her own. She volunteered for the County Clothing Center as well as the bereavement committee at FUMC of Ravenna. She was a member of the Civil Air Patrol serving her country when called upon.

She enjoyed bowling and taking her dog Charlie for walks.

Family was also important to Hilda and she cherished her time spent with them. Hilda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Ron Letts of Australia, as well as her 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, along with generations of loving nieces and nephews.

Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Frank Klingler, her daughter and son-in-law Mary and Dale Schwab, grandson Kurt Schwab, sister Marie Broking, and brother Harry DeVault.

Friends and family will be received Monday, September 23, 2019, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with funeral service following at 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
