He was born March 1, 1937, in Dutton, Alabama, a son of the late Kenney and Ethel Mae Henderson. Hollie was a proud veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie and gardening. Most of all, he enjoyed the time spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Debra (Hashman) Henderson; his sons: Roger (Rachel) Henderson and Brian Henderson; daughters: Valerie (Cesar) Cervantes and Sandra (Doug) Krueger; grandchildren: Jackie, Natasha, and Jacob, as well as his great-grandson Connor.
Friends will be received Friday, June 1, 2012, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where the funeral service will be officiated by Apostle William Epps, Jr. on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow with military honors provided by the US Army and Ravenna VFW Post 1055 Honor Guard at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
