He was born December 31, 1980, in Salem, Ohio. Jacob was a spiritual person who wore his heart on his sleeve, and had a happy go lucky personality. Jacob was a chef who trained in Florida and worked at the Happy Moose in Streetsboro. He also excelled in Frisbee golf, painting, and was a DJ, going by the stage name Jsly.
Jacob is survived by his heartbroken mother Jean Rapp, his step-father Robert Rapp, his sister Monica Horton, his brothers Wayne and Marcus Lyons, as well as his niece Justine Horton, nephew Achilles Fox, along with many loving extended family and friends.
Jacob was preceded in death by his father Gerald Esterly and his nephew Marcus Savage.
His wishes for cremation are being honored and no formal services are scheduled at this time.
