

Jim was a man of faith who was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and coach.
He was an avid Buckeyes and Cleveland sports fan.
Jim was famous for his quick wit, his outrageous Dad jokes, and endless stories.
He was a former coach and supporter of the Ravenna Hot Stove Baseball Association where the term “Belles Ball” was originated. He was also heavily involved with the Ravenna Rams Youth Football Association for many years, as well as a Founding Father of Ravenna Youth Wrestling Program which helped produced some of the most dominate wrestling teams in Ravenna’s history. He also committed 25 years to OHSAA as a well known and respected wrestling official forging long lasting friendships that he carried with him throughout his life.
Preceded in death by his parents Jack Belles and Bernadine Warner. Survived by wife of 49 years Sharon Belles, sons Louis (Robin) Damsa, John (Jackie) Belles, Matthew (Amanda) Damsa. Grandchildren Tyler, Madison, Mattie, Makenzie, Lila, Will. Great grandchild Josie. His sisters Judy Belles, Becky Hudgins, and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his loyal cat Chloe who he loved very much.
