Joann Rita Vozar, age 70 of Ravenna, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, at her home.

She was born June 24, 1950, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, to parents Charles and Mary (Pantalone) Vozar. Joann was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She enjoyed going to casinos, playing bingo, shopping, and was a member of Ravenna Moose Lodge 1234.

Joann is survived by her sisters Patty Lynch and Barbara Danes, her brother Charles Vozar, and will be loved and missed by many generations of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special friend Chuck Steele.

Friends and family will be received Friday, June 11, 2021, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W Main St., Ravenna, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend William Kraynak at 10:00 AM. Private entombment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

We have just come to find out that Joann has passed away! 😔Our very deepest sympathy to the families. We had the A&W in Ravenna and were blessed to have her work for us for many years. She was the sweetest and kindest person. Actually, an Angel. May she RIP. 🙏♥️

Aunt Joann was the most kindest, loving, and caring person. I will sadly and deeply miss her. She was a treasure to our family. She always was our cool and fun aunt to her nieces, nephews, and cousins and who took care of her family and was always there when needed. I will treasure our memories!
