Kathleen J. Lovesee

Kathleen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 3, 1945 to parents James and Arleen (Pulse) Bruce. She retired after spending a long career as the assistant treasurer for both Crestwood Local and Ravenna City School systems. Kathleen was a loyal Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed cheering on the Browns, Guardians and Cavaliers. Kathleen loved her West Highland Terrier "Finn" and enjoyed participating in the Westie Club of NE Ohio events. She was very proud of her Scottish heritage. Kathleen enjoyed yoga, concerts, and socializing with her friends and neighbors. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her children: Laura (Todd) Mann and Jeff (Charlene) Lovesee. She also leaves her beloved 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her memory will also be fondly cherished by her brother James Bruce and sister Arleen (Bill) Scott along with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Lovesee Sr. to whom she was married to for 40 years, her son James Robert Lovesee Jr., and her brother Robert Bruce.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna, on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 10am until the 11am memorial service. Inurnment will follow at Aurora Cemetery.
