Kristin L. Blankenship

Kristin was born to Keith and Jennifer (Darrow) Blankenship in Ravenna, Ohio on July 25, 1997. She was a graduate of Southeast High School, class of 2015. She loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and especially Kayaking, as she thought of that as very therapeutic. Kristin had an innate artistic talent, enjoyed crafts and was always drawing. One of her best attributes was she had a calm demeanor and was always smiling.

Kristin is survived by her father Keith (Valerie Lane) Blankenship, her mother Jennifer (Christopher Burch) Blankenship, her son Waylon River Blankenship, her brother Kraig (Courtney Cross) Blankenship and sister Ava Elizabeth Tinker. She also leaves her beloved paternal grandfather Verner Levi Blankenship, her aunt Karen (Anthony) Walczak, her uncle Jason Whitmer and “uncle” Dan (Norma) Mounts. Left also to cherish her memory are her great aunts and uncles Ruth & Bill Drew, Carol & Burnis Blankenship, her God parents Joann & Barry Hill and many loving cousins and special childhood friends from high school.

Kristin was preceded in death by her great grandpas Larry Compton and Joe Knecht.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11-1pm. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Scott Hindel, will begin at 1pm. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery will immediately follow.
