Larry Melvin Sexton

Larry was born May 26, 1946 in Boone County, West Virginia to parents John Lloyd and Maxine (Harless) Sexton. He resided in Palmyra. Larry attended school in West Virginia and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been a member of the Palmyra Fire Dept. for many years. Larry had worked at A.C. Williams Co. in Ravenna and retired from Jones Brothers Oil Co.

Larry is survived by his wife Maxine Sexton and daughters: Eloise Sexton and Teresa (Bernie) Staats, Larry is also survived by his step-children: Jeffrey Watson, Brian (Debra) Watson, Chuck (Lisa) Watson, Matt (Chris) Watson, Kelly (Mike) Becker and grandchildren: Gordon Sexton, Tim Watson, Larry Staats, Josh Staats, Cody Hysell, Jessica (Dominic) Bloom, Tewsday (Charles) Laureano, Rachael Watson, Alexandrea (James) Walsh and 16 step-grandchildren. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, his brother Lloyd (Goldie) Harless, and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Maxine F. Sexton.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna from 5:00pm to 7:00pm where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 11:00am. Interment will follow at West Cemetery in Palmyra.
