Leonard Paul Maslar

Leonard was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 13, 1941 to parents Steve and Margaret Maslar. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and retired from the Cleveland School System as a mechanic. He also served on the Charlestown Volunteer Fire Department. Leonard was a very generous, loving and selfless man who loved and enjoyed his family. He loved NASCAR and was an avid Browns fan. Leonard enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and fixing cars.

Leonard is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Joanne Maslar (nee Spinello). Surviving also is his loving son Anthony and daughter-in-law Tonya. He will be sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, very special niece Andrea (Ed) Barr, brother-in-law Vince (Sandy Gilchrist) Spinello and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his two beloved dogs: Mia & Bella.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Stephen Maslar and his in-laws: James and Frances Spinello.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will occur at a later date.
