Libby Botz Wiland

She was born Elizabeth Ann Botz on February 26, 1940, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of Sebastian and Elizabeth (Hobler) Botz. Libby graduated from Randolph High School. She worked as a florist at Acme in Kent and also with housekeeping at Laurel Lakes. Libby enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and sewing.

She is survived by her children: Shelly (Jay) Walter of Edinburg, Michael Wiland of Ravenna, Melany Barth of Golden Valley, MN, and Mary Ann (Marlin) Hammonds of North Benton, as well as her 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Libby is also survived by her mother Elizabeth Botz, her sisters: Jean Kehner of Randolph, Vivian (James) Back of Randolph, Doris Engler of Mogadore; and her brother Bud (Joyce) Botz.

Libby was preceded in death by her father Sebastian Michael Botz and Michael H. Wiland.

Cremation has taken place and friends will be received on Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 12:00 PM until the 1:00 PM Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Scott Hindel at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home.
