Linda Sharen Miller

She was born February 22, 1948, in Ravenna, Ohio, a daughter of Charles E. and Doris M. (Barthol) Miller. Linda worked as a bookkeeper at B&W Research in Alliance and most recently at Ameridial in North Canton. She was a former member of the Stark County Bicycle Club and once rode her bike across the state of Ohio in a week. Ms. Miller was very talented and creative. She enjoyed different crafts, crocheting and needlepoint, and sewing clothes for herself and her family. Linda also enjoyed baking pies, gardening, and camping with her nephews. Most of all, Linda was a compassionate and caring person who always put other’s needs above her own.

She is survived by her mother Doris Shocksnider of North Canton; her sisters: Nancy (Arnold) Raulinaitis of Streetsboro and Janet (Bill) Petrak of Fresno, OH; nephews: Jonathan “CJ” DeGroff and Matthew (Alison) DeGroff; as well as 6 great-nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her father and her beloved dog Corkie.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 6:00 PM at the Atwater Congregational Church, 1237 State Route 183, Atwater, OH 44201. A time of fellowship will follow at the church. Final resting place will be Atwater Cemetery.
