Louise Davis Stacy

She was born in Richland County, S.C. on December 10, 1928 to W. Welborn and Bessie (Sullivan) Davis. She lived there with her parents and 5 siblings.

In 1950 at the age of 21, she married John A. Davis and moved to Ohio. They had 3 daughters and lived in Randolph until John passed away in 2004. Louise was very dedicated to raising her daughters and always made herself available to listen and spend time with them. Many of her daughters’ friends were very close to her as well and felt they could confide in her. She married Lloyd E. Stacy in 2005, who passed away in 2006.

Louise enjoyed water color painting, quilting and drawing for many years. She was a 4-H sewing advisor for many of the neighborhood kids and enjoyed her time as part of the Country Piece-Makers quilt group for 28 years. Louise enjoyed traveling to Europe and Alaska. She always knew her circumstances were not perfect, but in 1974 she found the One who is perfect- Jesus Christ, and put her faith in Him to save her and wash away all of her sins. Louise was involved in saving the unborn and for many years volunteered at the Pregnancy Crisis Center helping young women to choose Life and value their children.

Louise is survived by daughters: Lynn (Mike) Danilowicz, Sandy (Bruce) Davis and Dane (Pete) Aemmer. Surviving also are 8 grandchildren: Erin (Chris) Theis, Amy (Nathan) Houze, step-grandson Mike Danilowicz, Carrie (Jim) Draper, Jesse (Sarah) Davis, Clay (Missy) Davis, Neil (Lysa) Aemmer, Faye (Chad) Hoffman, Joel (Marlies) Aemmer and 21 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends at the Friendship Bible Church, 1703 St. Rt. 44, Randolph, Ohio on Tuesday, February 17th from 11:00AM until the 12:00PM funeral service officiated by Pastor Bill Johnson. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
