Lowatha M. Phile

Lowatha was born in Charlestown, Ohio on May 11, 1930 to parents Stanley and Gay Phile. Lowatha enjoyed astronomy and peering through her telescope. She had collected enough books on astronomy to fill a library. Lowatha loved comic books, especially Superman and Batman. She really enjoyed watching the Powder Puff girls on television.

Lowatha is survived by her brother Leeon (Nancy) Phile and her nieces and nephews: Sandy (Ray) Christani, Richard (Shawn) Phile, James (Mary) Phile and Gary Phile. Surviving also are her great-nieces and nephews: Danielle Ingram, Abby Phile, Greg Phile, Jarrod Phile, Rick Phile, Gavin Phile and Blake Phile.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 11:00am until the 12:00pm funeral service officiated by Reverend Dr. Ed Beck. Private family burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Park.
