Michael Allen “Mike” Wiland, age 60 of Kent, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021. He was born May 12, 1961, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Michael Henry and Elizabeth (Botz) Wiland. Michael was a creative soul who enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, taxidermy, and listening to music.
Mike is survived by his daughters Sydnee Wiland and Mikayla Wiland, his siblings: Michelle (Jay) Walter, Mary Ann (Marlin) Hammonds, and Melany Barth, as well as his extended family consisting of many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the mother of his children Suzanne Wiland.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Jamie Wiland.
His wishes for cremation are being honored and a memorial will be held at Michelle and Jay Walter’s home on Saturday July 24, 2021 beginning at 2 PM. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com.
