July 31, 1966 – April 27, 2018
On April 27, 2018, the world lost a wonderful caring man, husband, soulmate, father, son, brother, and friend.
Mike was passionate about the outdoors. He loved fishing, trapping, and hunting. He loved the simple things in life and was grateful for everything he had and his family.
Mike grew up in Deerfield, Ohio, and would always tell everyone he grew up in the hills. He had a great sense of humor and would always joke around with everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his wife Julliann Smith; sons: Michael (Chelsea) Smith and Cory (Jordan) Smith; mom: Donna (Ed) Wohlwend; granddaughter: Kendall; brothers: Steve (Shannon) and Josh; sister: Heather (Glenn); niece: Sydnee; and his faithful dog Lilly.
He is now resting peacefully with the Lord and will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, May 2, 2018, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM with a funeral service celebrated by Rev. Kevin O’Brien at 5:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
