

She was born September 20, 1919, in Horton, West Virginia, the only daughter of the late Olie and Ella (Armentrout) Davis. Mildred grew up in the Stow area until marrying her husband, William E. Keyser, in 1941and moving to Cuyahoga Falls. After six years, they moved to a farm in Randolph to raise their family. Mr. and Mrs. Keyser celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary just before he passed away in 1991.
Mildred lived a quiet Christian life with devotion to her family, and was a member of Friendship Bible Church of Randolph. She also belonged to the Randolph Hobby Club, was a Randolph Girl Scout Leader, and Sunday school teacher for many years. Mildred enjoyed traveling throughout the world, gardening, sewing, and reading. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family, and welcoming all visitors to her home.
Survivors include her children: Cheryle (Al) Honn of Randolph, Penny (Kiva) Shtull of Solon, Beth (Bill) Johnson of Randolph, William (Rhonda) Keyser of Randolph; grandchildren: Jeff (Tricia) Honn, Steve Honn, Pamela (Mark) McFarland, Julie Patterson, Jennifer (Todd) Lovell, Amy Johnson, Joshua (Ali) Johnson, Brian Keyser, and Carrie Keyser; great-grandchildren: Meagan McFarland, Taylor Patterson, Chris McFarland, Nathan Honn, Benjamin Patterson-Pepper, and Peyton Lovell; also survived by her brother William “Bill” Davis of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her five brothers Richard, Roy, Gail, Harold, and John Davis.
Friends will be received Friday, March 26, 2010, from 5-8 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Bill Johnson on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
