She was born May 26, 1925, in Napier, West Virginia, to parents George and Mary (Dolan) Brown. She worked for several years at Jet Rubber, but most of all, she was a devoted wife and loving mother. Mildred was a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, especially on Tuesday mornings with her daughter Doris. Mildred also enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and being with family and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl K’Meyer, her brothers Hayward “Buck”, Thomas, Bob, her sisters Hazel, Regina, and Madelyn.
Mildred is survived by her dear daughter Doris K’Meyer, her sister Emogene Wade, as well as generations of nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including Sherry and Richard Blasens and Ron and Denise Jenkins.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Final resting place will be West Cemetery in Palmyra.
