Mildred Marie Powell

She was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 30, 1933, in Niles, Ohio, to parents William and Helen (Willits) Siebenthal. Mildred retired from Ohio Edison working mostly as a data control clerk and supervisor. She enjoyed camping at Berlin Lake, playing cards, and listening to the Bee Gees. Mildred was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan, enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles, and playing Upwords with her sister Ann.

Mildred is survived by her children: Bruce (Claudia) Powell, David Jeffrey (Denise) Powell, and Mark (Teresa) Powell Sr.; grandchildren: Mark (Brittany) Powell Jr., Joseph (Malory Edwards) Powell, Philip (Ashley) Powell, David (Dorothy Lockhart) Powell, Robert (Courtney) Powell, Ryan Powell, and Adriane (Kenny Caldwell) Powell; as well as her 18 great-grandchildren. Mildred is also survived by her sister Ann Drabold, her brothers: Bill (Cindy) Siebenthal, Don (Barb) Siebenthal, and Norm (Carol) Siebenthal, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bruce Powell, her grandchildren David and Devin Powell, and her dear friend Bill Campbell.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Private burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Park.
