Paul C. Heisel

Paul was born in Kenmore, Ohio to parents Raymond A. and Thelma M. Heisel. He retired from Goodyear after a long career in 1980. Paul was a great fisherman and enjoyed many fishing trips to Canada. He loved polka music and polka dancing and was a real good man who would do anything for anybody. Paul also enjoyed his affiliations with the Doylestown American Legion and the West Volusia Moose Club, Lodge #2538 in Deltona, Fla.

Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rose Heisel and children: Melody (Thomas) Hutson, David Heisel and Fred (Joanna) Heisel. Surviving also are grandchildren: Robert (Chelsea) Hutson, Melissa Hutson, Shannon & Kayla Heisel and great-grandchildren: Monique, Tonya, Robert Jr. and Alexus Hutson. He also leaves his sisters: Ruth (Bob) Kardos, Barbara (Pat) Hutcheson and many loving nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Graveside service with military honors is planned at Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
