Rande E. McDaniel

Rande was born in Ravenna, Ohio on April 24, 1953 to parents Robert and Thelma Derr. She was an avid animal lover and had been a dog groomer and also worked as a veterinary assistant at Banks & Buetel Veterinary Hospital. Rande had been a generous donor to the Cleveland Zoological Society and a zoo parent. Rande had a wicked sense of humor and was a HUGE Steelers fan. She enjoyed the outdoors but most of all she was a devoted mom and friend to many.

Rande is survived by her son Christopher McDaniel and husband Martin McDaniel. Surviving also is her adoptive family: Robert Ebner, Tina Sample, Carol Russell, Denise McCoy, Ryan McCoy, Greg & Shelli Nartker, Jeff Moffitt, Carolyn Gray, Pricilla Furry, Hailie & Logan Furry, Josh & Deanna Silver and Alex & Chloe Silver.

Rande was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 12:00pm until the 1:00pm funeral service officiated by Pastor W. David Rosenberger. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
