He was born June 23, 1969, to Brenda (Polk) Reagan and Terry Collins, beginning his life in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where he very much enjoyed running and climbing around the Gorge with his friends. During high school he moved to Ravenna, Ohio where he met his high-school sweetheart and wife of 35 years Peggy Chambers-Collins.
Bob was a journeyman millwright at HarbisonWalker International and was part owner of Buckeye Garage Door.
Bob was incredibly strong and smart; both book smart and street smart. Bob coached football with the semi-pro football team the Ohio Gladiators, and also with Ravenna High School, Brown Middle School, and Ravenna Youth League. Bob loved hunting, fishing and IndyCar racing, and especially loved his yearly West Virginia hunting trips and Indy 500 trips with his friends, where he formed no shortage of wonderful memories.
Bob had a boisterous spirit, as evidenced by often giving his "one-finger salute" in pictures, and, yes, that was cropped out of this photo. And lastly, as Bob would so often say, "Drive Fast, Take Chances."
Bob is survived by his wife Peggy, daughter Kelly Collins-Petit (Patrick Petit), son Cole Collins (Georga Saylor), mother Brenda Reagan, sister Melanie Collins, mother-in-law Carolyn Chambers, brothers-in-law Alan Graham and Salvatore Lapadula, and nieces and nephews, Holly, Sara, Desiree, Deanna, Jasmine, Brendan, Dominic and Holly, and many special friends who filled his life with love and laughter.
Bob was preceded in death by his father Terry Collins, stepfather John Reagan, sister Michelle Graham, grandparents Boyd and Mary Polk and Ralph Collins, sisters-in-law Jackie Lapadula, Laura Chambers, and father-in-law Jack Chambers whom Bob lovingly nicknamed Ted.
