

Bob was born on June 6, 1938, in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary (Ken) Hayden. He was a graduate of Ravenna High School and served in the Army. He retired from McNeil& NRM Akron, OH.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe and two brothers-in-law (Donald Stockley and Herb McCoy).
Bob is survived by the love of his life, wife Judith (Weaver) Hayden. They celebrated 62 years of marriage. His children, Shawn Hayden, Joel (Kristine) Hayden, Kara (Andrew) Wallis and Scott (Karee) Hayden. Four Grandchildren, Josh (Autumn) Hayden, Alex (Molly) Hayden, Lauren Wallis (Spencer Foster) and Joseph Wallis. Five Great Grandchildren, Sawyer, Wylder, Lily, Cassius and Kennedy. Bob was extremely proud of each and every one of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and visits with each of them is what he treasured most. He is also survived by siblings, Betty Stockley, Joanne McCoy, Stanley (Marge) Hayden, Merrily (Jerry) McIntyre and sister-in-law Gay Hayden.
Bob epitomized the “King of Cool”, He loved his family more than anything and loved family gatherings where he could beat everyone at a game of Euchre, Poker or Corn Hole. Many fond memories were made on beach vacations to the Outer Banks, NC.
Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 4pm until the memorial service, officiated by Pastor David Ballert, beginning at 6pm. Inurnment at Maple Grove Cemetery will be held at a later date.
