Robert L. Kline

He was born March 10, 1951, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Howard Joseph and Marian R. (Crocker) Kline. Bob graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School in 1969 and then enlisted in the US Army. He was proud to serve his country.

Bob was a former member of St. Patrick Parish in Kent and the Portage County Historical Society. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Bob enjoyed going to all of their ball games, often riding his scooter across the fields.

Bob is survived by his twin sons: Matthew (Crissy) Kline and Mark (Amy) Kline, his daughter: Jennifer Kline, and his grandchildren: Scott (Arora), David, Brittany, Allison (Anthony), Allen, Emma, Jessica, Makayla, Hayden, Mary, Emily, Ryan, and Kimi, along with his siblings: Joe, Ron, Becky, Mari, and John.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Kathy Kline, who he married May 5, 1973.

His wishes for cremation are being honored. Bob will be reunited with Kathy during a private ceremony at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
