Born in Richmond, Virginia, Ronald was a life-long resident of Portage County. He grew up in Windham, graduating from Windham High School in 1960. After high school he became employed by Samuel Moore & Company (Eaton Corp) in Mantua, the place he worked for 45 years. Starting as a machine operator, he worked his way up through the company to become one of the leading experts in braiding.
Throughout his life, and especially in retirement, he enjoyed yard work, building, and vintage cars. He attended Liberty Bible Church and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife and grandchildren! He will be sorely missed by his entire family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 48 ½ years, Katherine Henley (King), daughters: Rhonda Muscaro (husband David) of Michigan, Kelly Brode (husband Doug) of Ravenna, and Renee Kniskern (husband Jonathan) of Cincinnati. He has six grandchildren: Tyler and Garrett Brode, Moriah and Aaron Muscaro, Mason and Avery Kniskern. He is also survived by siblings: Nancy Neer, Donald Henley, and Ralph “Sonny” Henley.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Pauline (Lyons) Henley and sister Carolyn Dye.
