

Ronnie graduated from Clay High School and proudly served in the United States Army for two years. He was an active member of the Streetsboro VFW and Streetsboro American Legion, where he was a member of their Honor Guard for many years.
Ronnie retired from the Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills Stamping Plant, after 40 years of employment and became a member of UAW Retirees. In his spare time, Ronnie enjoyed reading and socializing with his friends at the VFW and the Legion.
Ronnie is survived by his sons: Herb (Candy) Legg and Jerry (Diana) Legg, his daughter Shelby England, and his grandchildren: Ronnie (Corey) Legg, Ryan (Blaise) Legg, Brittany (Paul) Ondecker, Myley (Jim) Legg, Ben (Emily) Legg, as well as his great-grandchildren: Baylee, Morgan, Niko, Harper, Glenna, Mason, and Riley. He is also survived by his siblings: John (Diane) Legg, Henson Legg, Brent (Reba) Legg, Pat (Melissa) Legg, Joe (Robin) Legg, and Shirley (Kenneth) Jarvis, his brother-in-law Roger (Barbara) Hurst, along with generations of nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Polly (Hurst) Legg, and his sister Carol Hamrick.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor David Ballert at 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St, Ravenna. Interment will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full military honors.
