Ruth Ann Taylor

Ruth was born in Akron, Ohio on October 10, 1956 to parents French C. and Clara Carpenter. She was a warm, loving person who really loved her grandbabies. Ruth loved to go fishing and truly enjoyed being with her family, especially at the holidays. She led a good life and loved to laugh.

Ruth is survived by her daughters: Angela (Jake) Saltsman, Ashley Taylor and Laurie Taylor and her son: Tom (Amanda) Carpenter. Surviving also are her grandchildren: Ruth Sayre, Emily Carpenter, Taylor Carpenter and Jalynne Saltsman. Ruth also leaves her sister, Mary (Kenneth) Thompson and her brothers: Paul Carpenter and James Carpenter. She will be sadly missed by her many loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and all of her friends whose lives she touched.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Carpenter, her grandmother Mabel Carpenter and Grandpa Charles Clark and also her “special cousin” Ronald Barnett.

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 11:00AM until the 1:00PM funeral service, officiated by Pastor Barb Davis, at the Full Gospel Mission, 887 W. Spruce St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
