Shirley Ann Roncevich

She was born March 24, 1936, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to parents George and Clara (Chandler) Schroeder. Shirley remained a lifelong Steelers fan even after moving to Ohio. She was a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church and enjoyed mowing and taking care of her lawn. She also took pride in her extensive collection of owl and wolf figurines. Most of all, Shirley was a loving mother and devoted homemaker and will be missed by her family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her husband James Roncevich Sr., who she married August 17, 1957, as well as her children: Cindy (Clinton) Daniels, James Roncevich Jr., and Paul (Sarah) Roncevich, along with her 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings: George Schroeder, Ruth Shaffer, and Jean Schwartzwaelder.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a funeral service officiated by Reverend Lizzie Weed at 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at West Cemetery in Palmyra Township.
