Stephen C. Henderson

He was born April 26, 1955, in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, to parents Kenneth Dale and Anna Mae (Loche) Henderson. He grew up in Atwater, OH where he created countless memories with his five brothers and sisters. In between four-wheeling trips, bike rides, pranks and enjoying all of the recreational activities the 60s and 70s had to offer, Steve found time to graduate from Waterloo High School in 1974.

Steve married Beverly on July 26, 1990 and they enjoyed 34 years of motorcycle rides, trips to various casinos, Sunday dinners, and spending time with their two children.

Steve loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He also enjoyed swimming, listening to the Cleveland Indians and Browns games, and watching old westerns. Steve loved to grill and cook big breakfasts for his family on weekends. He passed many of these passions down to his children who cherish these special memories.

Steve loved countless pets over the years and often could be found with a dog in his pickup truck. Steve was a devoted friend to many and maintained lifelong relationships with members of the community. Steve worked hard for several decades in tool and die cast factories to support his family whom he loved so much.

Steve is survived by his loving wife Beverly A. (Lewis) Henderson, his children: Steven (Danielle) Henderson of Lakewood and Stephanie Henderson of Atwater, and his siblings: Linda (Michael) Meister of Niles, Bruce (Rhonda) Parkins of Garrettsville, and Kathy (Rob) Tucker of Garrettsville.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Glen and Danny Henderson.

His wishes for cremation are being honored and a celebration of Steve’s life will take place on a later date this summer at Mosquito Lake Park where he loved to fish. Condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com
