Susanna Julia Haupt

She was born February 20, 1924, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, to parents Joseph and Helen (Lutheran) Takas. Susanna worked as an LPN in the 1950’s, as a beautician in the 1960’s, and at Packard Electric in the 1970’s until her retirement in 1988. She was also the owner of Johnny’s Radiator in Ravenna for 35 years. Susanna enjoyed cooking, fishing, and needlework.

She is survived by her husband Anson Haupt, whom she was together with for 52 years. Susanna is also survived by her children: Robert (Doris) Bable, Pricilla Winans, Dianne (Ken) Coen, and Donald (Pat) Bable, her step-son: Perry (Victoria) Riddle, her brother John Takas, and her grandchildren: Dr. Jefferson (Tammy) Davis, Heather Kitchings, Justin Winans, and Kyle Bable. Her memory will also be cherished by her six great-grandchildren and all of her loving step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law Robert Winans, her step-sons Timothy and Todd Haupt, her two sisters, and her four brothers.

Cremation has taken place and final resting place will be Rose Hill Cemetery in Hanoverton Township, Ohio. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Crossroads Hospice.
