Born in Los Angeles, California, Thomas moved to Ravenna, Ohio, at the age of five. Thomas spent his school years on the football field, a passion that evolved into a lifelong devotion to the Kansas City Chiefs. He could often be found cheering on his favorite drivers, rarely missing a NASCAR event.
Thomas found his greatest peace in the quiet moments of life. Whether he was casting a line while fishing, listening to his favorite music, or gathering with friends for a cookout, he was at his happiest under the open sky. His favorite evenings were spent by the glow of a bonfire, sharing stories and laughter with the people he loved most.
Thomas’s legacy lives on through his three daughters, Kayla Shaw, Trisha (Dylan) Hanshaw, and Haley Shaw, as well as their mother, Kimberly Marshall. He was a proud grandfather to Payton Payne and a dear brother to Kimberly Harris. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins. He is reunited in death with his parents, Jack and Marjorie Shaw; his stepfather, Gary Harris; his brother, Jackie Shaw; and his sister, Raelyn Shaw.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com
