

She was born September 15, 1929, in Cortland, Ohio a daughter of the late Llewellyn and Harriet (Welsh) Wollam. Sally was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked at Harper’s Clothing Store before moving to Arizona where she and her husband owned and operated two Hallmark Card and Gift stores. She returned to Ravenna following the death of her husband where she was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Junior Tuesday Club.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years Chester Parshall and her brothers Lou, Robert, and Charles Wollam.
Sally is survived by her children Randy Parshall of Soldotna, Alaska and his wife Sharry and Kenneth Parshall of Kent and his wife Debra; grandchildren: Kristin (Scott) Stonestreet, Andrea Parshall, Ty Parshall, Julie Parshall, Becky (Joshua) Silba, Megan (Ben) Lavigne, David (Tanya) Parshall, Alison (Jordan) Chilson, Matthew Parshall, Laura Tsai, and Amy (Brent) Harris; she is also survived by her brother Carl (Gail) Wollam, sister-in-law: Grace Wollam, her 8 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2011, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 170 N. Freedom St., Ravenna, OH 44266. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Robinson Memorial Hospice and Visiting Nurse, or the Christian Cupboard.
