Myrtice Doris Cook

Myrtice Anderson Cook, long time resident of Jackson and Raymond died June 13, 2012 at the age of 92. She was born in Ludlow to the late Lora and Carl Anderson, graduated from Hinds Jr. College and retired from the Mississippi Tax Commission. She was a devoted member of Alta Woods Baptist Church and First Baptist Church, Raymond.

Mrs. Cook was predeceased by her husband Barney Cook and sister and brother in-law Kathleen and Erle Breeden. She is survived and fondly remembered by nephew Larry Breeden and wife Gwen, nieces Susan Verzone and husband Fred, Linda Garner and husband Tim, nine great and fifteen great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be in the chapel at Wright and Ferguson Funeral home in Raymond Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm following visitation starting at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
