

Joel Vanoli, 55, of Canal Winchester, OH passed away peacefully on January 26, 2012. He was born to the late Joseph and Eva (Goldschmidt) Vanoli in Cincinnati, OH. He was married to Vickie Fuller on December 7, 1980 in Columbus, OH and Vickie preceded him in death in 2003. Joel graduated from Moeller High School in 1975 and College of Mount St. Joseph in 1990 in Cincinnati, OH. He formerly taught religion at Elder High School in Cincinnati from 1991-2005. He was an active member of the Catholic Men's Fellowship in Cincinnati since 2001. He proudly served 6 years in the U. S. Army in the 70's and 80's. Joel is survived by his son Anthony and his wife Jill (Mortomer) Vanoli of Cincinnati and grandsons Kaleb and Konner, his sister Linda Karwisch of Indianapolis, and three brothers, Daniel Vanoli of Centerville, OH, Richard Vanoli of Canal Winchester, OH and David Vanoli of Amelia, OH. In addition to his parents and former wife, Joel was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Vanoli. Family will receive friends and relatives from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday February 3, 2012 for visitation at Schmidt/Dhonau/Kucner Funeral Home, 8633 Reading Rd, Reading, OH 45215. A Mass of Christian Burial will be presided by Father Terry Hamilton, a dear friend of Joel's, at 10:00 am Saturday Feb. 4, 2012 at St. Peter and Paul Church (School cafeteria being used due to renovations) 330 West Vine St., Reading, OH 45215. A burial ceremony will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 9412 Reading Rd, Reading, OH 45215. Joel requested contributions to Hospice in lieu of flowers.
