Albert Reyes

Albert Reyes, 51, of Reading, formerly of Bakersfield, CA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Born in Bakersfield, CA on November 18, 1962, Albert was a son of the late Manuel Vidot Reyes and Maria Grace Garcia. He lived in Bakersfield most of his life until he moved to Reading in 1981.

Albert is survived by his two children, Albert Ruben Reyes of Bakersfield, CA and Tyla Grace Reyes of Lancaster with her mother, Lashawn Klotz; ten sisters: Elizabeth Moreno; Estella Henderson and her husband, Rick; and Grace Zamora of Bakersfield, CA; Norma Rivera-Vidot and her husband, Julio of Reading; Maria I. Henderson and her husband, Roberto of Lancaster; Minerva Vidot of Atlanta, GA; Noemi Montano and her husband, Luis A. of Blandon; Sara Vidot-Ortega and her husband, Javier; Elisama Vidot and Damaris Sanchez of Reading; seven brothers: Gilbert Sosa and Manuel Reyes of Bakersfield, CA; Fruto Reyes and his wife, Noelia and Roberto Reyes and his wife, Patricia of Reading, Joel R. Vidot of Sinking Spring, David Vidot and his wife, Llanira of Lancaster, and Benjamin Ortega of Sinking Spring; step mother, Sarita Vidot and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by three brothers: Richard Sosa, Herman Reyes and Josue Vidot.

A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 in Hope of the Nations Christian Center, 134 N. 5th St. #1, 19601. Arrangements are entrusted with the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601.
