Andrew Harry Ledingham, 62, of Reading, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Reading Hospital - Tower Health. Born in Newark, NJ on January 27, 1962, he was a son to the late Harry Ledingham and Carolyn (Coy) Ledingham.
Andrew is survived by his 4 sons Andrew Zachary Rios, Francisco Juan Rios, Gabriel Ryan Ledingham, and Corey Noel Ledingham; his significant other Iris (Rios) Ledingham; his 2 grandchildren Alexander Diaz Ledingham and Cloey Noel Ledingham; and his beloved chihuahua's Chi Chi & Uno.
Andrew’s life was a testament to hard work and humility. Over the years, he held various roles, working at Premium Beverage Packing, Ames Distributions, and finally dedicating 18 years to Walmart before retiring in 2022. He had a love-hate relationship with work—he showed up faithfully but never missed an opportunity to voice his honest opinions about it.
A simple man, Andrew was happiest at home with his dogs and around cars. His mornings were rituals of coffee, a cigarette, and a moment of peace before facing the day. Strong and steadfast in his prime, he was a 'straight shooter' who stayed firmly on the 'straight and narrow,' never finding himself on the wrong side of the law. He commanded respect without demanding it, embodying integrity and authenticity.
Andrew’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a man who found joy in the simple things and left an indelible mark on everyone who crossed his path.
May he rest in eternal peace.
