Charles Forest Dalton, 80, formerly of Reading, of Dayton, OH the last 2 1/2 years, passed away December 25, 2014 in Kettering Medical Center. His wife, Grace (Conrad) Dalton passed away in 1999. Charles was born in West Reading on October 9, 1934, a son of the late Walter and Katherine (Keen) Dalton.
He was employed by Alco Papermill in Wyomissing as a colorer for 30 plus years.
Charles is survived by his 3 daughters: Annette Dalton-Cheek of Dayton, OH; Cindy Ann Dalton of Johnstown, PA; and Charlene Esther (Dalton) and her husband, DeMond Watson of Atlanta, GA. There are 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren with another on the way. Charles was also predeceased by his daughter, Bambi (Dalton) Braun in 2001.
Services will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Auman's Inc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Saturday 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.aumansinc.com.
