

He was born March 23, 1926, in Valley View, PA, the son of the late Charles and Nora Carl.
Mr. Carl worked as a machine operator at the former Rockwell Industries. He was also employed by K-Mart. He was an engineer for the Reiffton Fire Co., a member of the United Steel Workers Of America Local 6996, and a member of the John F. Laedlein Lodge 707 F&AM.
Clarence served our country in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (Fisher) Carl on Aug. 18, 2008.
He is survived by his 3 daughters: Frances Thomas and her husband, Earl, of Myerstown, Lucille Alfiero of Sinking Spring, and Lori Miller and her fiance, David Baver, of Reading.
Clarence is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Smith.
Friends and family will be received at the Auman Funeral Home, 390 W. Nev-ersink Rd., Reiffton, PA 19606 on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be in the Forest Hills Memorial Park. www.aumansinc.com.
