Born in Reading on July 28, 1936, he was a son of the late Martin and Eva (Pierce) Pfautz.
David was a Reading High School graduate and served in the U.S. Navy as an engineer from 1956 to 1961. After returning home to Reading, David became a real estate agent and worked for many years with Remax.
David believed in the importance of physical fitness and worked out every day of his life.
Services for David are private and at the convenience of the family. Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, is entrusted with the arrangements.
