Elizabeth Gertrude Morrison

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Freddie L. Morrison on March 3, 2017.

Libby was born in Reading on April 22, 1928, a daughter of the late Clayborn M. Sr., and Carrie (Jackson) White.

She was a true and faithful member of Zion Baptist Church where she was a past choir member, pastor's aide, and worked with the youth. Libby was the matriarch of her family where she would host many of the holiday gatherings and her home was the hub for her relatives.

Surviving are her 3 daughters; Constance M. widow of Wilbert Thompson, Wanda E. Morrison and Brenda L. Morrison, 2 grandchildren; Sherry Lynne Morrison and Nicole Morrison and great grandson, Antonio Morrison.

Libby was predeceased by her grandson, Anthony Morrison and her siblings; Clayborn M. White, Charlotte Rebecca White, Robert L. White, Harold F. White and Esther M. White.

A viewing for Libby will be held Friday, November 17, 2023, from 9-11am at Zion Baptist Church, 224 Washington St., Reading PA 19601. A celebration of life service will promptly commence in the church at 11am, with Pastor Bruce Alick officiating. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
