Fern LaRue (Weaver) Moll, 95, of Laureldale, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, February 9, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family and her faithful furry companion Herbie. She was predeceased by her husband, James H. Moll, Sr. on October 2, 2017 after 71 years of marriage.
Fern was born in South Pottstown on October 14, 1929, a daughter of the late William F. and Bertha H. (Conrad) Weaver. She was a true and faithful member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Fern was employed by local caterers for over 60 years working until 83 years of age. Fern treasured times camping with her family. She was a member of the Laureldale Senior Club and enjoyed bus trips with them, along with her brother Kenny. Fern and her niece Norma took pride in planning and running the Weaver Family Reunions for many years.
Fern is survived by her 4 children; Donna M. widow of Richard Noah, Sr, Daniel L. Moll, Kathi E. wife of Christy Fritz, and Lois E. wife of Michael Schade. She was the grandmother to Melissa, Angelic, Richard, Jr., Laura, Jessica, Brianna, Joby, Amber, Cody, Caleb and Dylan. Also surviving are her 24 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren with 3 more on their way.
Fern was also predeceased by her 4 brothers: Norman, Wilmer, Charles and Kenneth. She was also predeceased by her son, James H. Moll, Jr., her grandson, Matthew Ian Noah and great granddaughter, Jeanette Smith.
A viewing will be Tuesday February 18, 2025 from 10-11am in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd., Reiffton with services to start at 11am. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
