Flor Maria Montes

Her husband, Raymond Montes, passed away in 2000. She was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, on July 25, 1943, a daughter of the late Carlos Sanchez and Ana Maria Dominguez.

Flor worked as a seamstress throughout her life in various sewing factories.

She is survived by her daughter, Lourdes Y., and her husband, Carmelo Morales, of Mohrsville; her son, Edwin F. Martinez, of Allentown; 4 grandchildren: Noralee Morales, Carmelo Morales Jr., Adrian Morales, Erasmo Morales; and 2 great-grandchildren, Alaina Morales and Katelyn Morales.

Her surviving siblings: Carmen M. Figueroa of Reading, Angel M. Sanchez of Puerto Rico and Juan R. Sanchez of Puerto Rico; 2 step-brothers, David Sanchez, of Puerto Rico, and Ruben Sanchez, of FL; step-sister, Gladys Sanchez, of Puerto Rico.

Flor was predeceased by her brothers, Carlos Sanchez and Carlos F. Sanchez.

Services will be Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
