Gayle Marie Hendel-Williams, 63, of Oley, passed away November 10, 2014 in St. Joseph Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Williams. Born in Reading on December 5, 1950 a daughter of Roy Eckert of Maryland and the late Betty (Beck) Eckert.
She loved craft shows and the beach.
Gayle is also survived by her children: Cynthia L. Hendel of Hamburg; Debra M. and her husband, Corey Correll of Hamburg, and Daniel S. Jr. and his wife, Michele Hendel of Hamburg. Her 2 step daughters, Amanda Williams of Phoenixville and Lauren Williams of Salt Lake City, UT. There is 1 brother, Gary Eckert of Fleetwood, and 6 grandchildren: Taylor, Zachary, Kaley, Jefry, Caiden, and Haley.. Gayle was predeceased by her first husband, Daniel S. Hendel Sr. in 1994.
A Celebration of Gayle's Life will be Monday November 17, 2014 at 7 p.m. in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd Reiffton. A gathering will be Monday 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
