Gladys Mercedes Urueta De Pérez

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia on June 26, 1950, Gladys was a daughter of the late Ramon Urueta and Virgilia Pena.

She was a woman who was strong and full of life. A noble, honest, and hardworking woman who loved her children and grandchildren tirelessly.

Gladys liked to travel on cruises and loved to enjoy her house in Colombia. Her family and friends will always remember her as a great woman who always wanted to help the ones who needed it most.

She was a warrior up until the last minutes of her life, until the Lord wanted to take her to His Kingdom. She will be missed enormously.

In addition to her husband, Armando, Gladys is survived by three children: Yahaira Del Carmen Gonzalez and her husband, Luis, Armando R. Perez and Fabian Perez and four grandchildren: Armando R. Perez, Jr., Alejhandra Gonzalez Perez, Kamila Gonzalez and Alexah Perez.

Also surviving are her siblings: Ivan and his wife, Liliana Urueta, Jose and his wife, Miriam Reyes, Ramon and his wife, Arisleyda Urueta, Alba Urueta, Maria Reyes, Lilia Tapias and Beatriz and her husband, David Reales.

A Prayer Service will be at 8pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. A visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm. Burial will be in Colombia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Berks Visiting Nurses, 1170 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610.

Gladys Mercedes Urueta De Pérez, 67 años, de la ciudad de Reading, falleció el Viernes 10 de noviembre del 2017 un UPMC Pinnacle Health, Harrisburg. Ella era la amada esposa de Armando C. Pérez.

Nacida en Barranquilla, Colombia el 26 de Junio del 1950. Gladys era la hija de los difuntos Ramón Urueta y Virgilia Peña.

Ella era una mujer fuerte y llena de vida. Una mujer noble, honesta y muy trabajadora. Amó a sus hijos y nietos incansablemente.

A Gladys le gustaba viajar en cruceros y le encantaba disfrutar su casa en Colombia. Sus familiares y amigos siempre la recordaremos como una gran mujer que siempre quizo ayudar al que necesitaba.

Ella fue una guerrera hasta los últimos minutos de su vida, hasta que el señor la quizo llevar a su reino. La extrañaremos enormemente.

En adición a su esposo Armando, a Gladys le sobreviven tres hijos: Yahaira Del Carmen González y su esposo Luis, Armando R. Pérez y Fabián Pérez, y cuatro nietos: Armando R. Pérez Jr, Alejhandra González Pérez, Kamila González y Alexah Pérez.

También le sobreviven sus hermanos: Ivan y su esposa Liliana Urueta, José y su esposa Miriam Reyes, Ramón y su esposa Arisleyda Urueta, Alba Urueta, María Reyes, Lilia Tapias y Beatriz y su esposo David Reales.

Un servicio de Oración se celebrará el Martes, 14 de Noviembre del 2017 a las 8pm en la Funeraria Theo C. Auman, 247 Penn St, Reading PA 19601. Un velatorio en la Funeraria Theo C Auman el Martes, 14 de Noviembre del 2017 desde 6 pm hasta las 8 pm. Su entierro será en Colombia.
